I've been out of town a while, and came back recently. [ she has to catch herself to keep from saying "Miki", but the hesitation is barely noticeable-- ] Akihiko thought I should meet his friends, since I was in the area. --Though I'd have made him anyway, even if he hadn't thought so. [ There was a reason Akihiko introduced CC as the owner of the bar, and not as his friend. A bit quickly. ] Well, if Mitsuru's to get to know the place, of course she'd have to meet you, C.C.

And I thought you two might get along. Especially since Mitsuru knows all the old blackmail, and I thought that might at least interest you.

I would have figured it out anyway, Akihiko, but it's refreshing to meet someone who clearly has you wrapped around her finger.
