BAR POST

*C.C. is situated, as usual, in the Geass, and serving drinks and looking pretty bored. Come tell her your sob stories, mingle with other people, try to pick chicks (or dudes) up.

Or get drunk and start fights. She might have to kick your ass, though.

In other words, if you needed an excuse for your characters to get crunk, HERE IT IS. \o/*

[sliding up to the bar, he took a seat on one of the stools and offered her a friendly smile] You look rather bored.

What else is new? *regards him quietly* You want juice or something, kid?

[he lifts his chin just slightly as he regards her, his head tilted just a bit] Do you not enjoy your job? [he inquired lightly, tone somewhat quizzical before he smiled at her once more]

Oh! If you have some, that would be fine. If not, I'm content with water.

I don't dislike it.

Mmn. *grabs a bottle nearby, then pours him some apple juice, sliding the glass to him*

Perhaps disillusioned, then.

[smiles politely as he catches the sliding glass] Thank you.

Not really. It's just something to do. I have no positive or negative opinions.

How old are you?

What a shame, really. One should do something the enjoy and have positive opinions on rather than simply slide by without ever really finding anything engaging.

[growing silent for a few moments he coughed slightly, looking down before looking back up at her] ...I'm sixteen.

Nothing really catches my attention nowadays.

What are you doing here?

Have things truly become that stagnant for you? It's hard to regain such things once one has left them for so long. You're young still, you have so much ahead of you. It would be a shame to spend the rest of your years in such a void.

Would you like for me to leave? I do not wish to cause any trouble.

Much ahead of me. Right.

You're not causing any trouble. It's the other drinkers I'm concerned about.

You really do seem quite disillusioned with life. Is it truly so bad that you cannot let go of whatever it is that seems to be weighing you down?

[he smiles lightly] I'll be on the lookout, then.

I've tried. This job is part of the process.

Good. If anyone touches you in an uncomfortable place, just yell.

Ah- [blinkblinkblink... looking a bit embarrassed] I will.

It's not something that can be fixed in a day. Or even a few months or year. It can be a long process, but so long as you remain willing to stay the course, then you can accomplish what you wish to. Sometimes things that we try to distance ourselves from have a way of reentering our lives, but it can still be dealt with.

Not all things that are broken can be fixed. Time can't heal everything.

To believe so would be rather foolish. However, time can weather the edges.
