[It's the wee hours of the morning and it's... Actually the first night's sleep Peter's gotten since showing up here that's been anywhere close to decent. So he still looks like hell, just slightly less so at the moment. When he speaks, it's quietly, and he keeps glancing off-screen as if to make sure of something.First things first. I might have

It's not the best idea to just have one man in charge, not with something like this.

We need to find a long term solution for food and water distribution. There are children here, and they can't be expected to fend for themselves.

Yeah, I know. I've gotten... [Takes a moment to count them off.] Well, one living with me and my friend here, another two living in the cabin by us, then two I know are living outside the walls in their own little camp which actually looks a hell of a lot better than most of the places in here. ...Though they may have gotten a third since... That one can't really stay in a cabin per se. [Dot dot dot. Awkward cough. He forgot for a second how it might look that a middle-aged man was sort of. Aware of all the kids in the camp and their situations. ........He blames Neal. >,>
SUBJECT CHANGE.] As for food and water, there's a spring by the south wall and this place [Jerking a thumb at the storehouse shelves behind him.] Looks like it got filled up overnight. Tried figuring it out tonight, but we. [...Oh fun. More awkward.] Sort of fell asleep.

[And don't worry, Peter, Anna is assuming all kinds of things right now, but she's going to just hope that he's a kind soul that's interested in the well being of all of the poor kids that are there. She's just not even going to act like they were talking about kids to begin with.]

[askldjfalsf He feels you judging him. Obviously he must rectify this.] No, no, it's just. My partner here has a soft spot for kids in general, so he somehow manages to meet most of them around the thing, and since he can't go much of anywhere alone, that means I meet them too, and they're kids so it's not like I could just. You know. ...Not check up on them.
...Anyway. Don't really need it, huh. That must come in handy. But all right then, if you'd like to volunteer for stakeout duty, not going to stop you.

[Yeah, that story didn't help convince her of anything. So she's going to just...casually question him now.]

Uh, Nill's around fourteen? Fifteen? I'm not entirely sure on that since she's not either. ...Though if you do check on her, fair warning? She's got wings. So. Don't know what you're used to, but she's really shy, so gawking at her probably won't help.
