I've always loved those two together and would have enjoyed seeing where the characters went in the actual show had Andrea Thompson not left.

And the whole falling for someone in spite of your supposed better judgement is just perfect for fan fiction ideas.

Thanks, I really appreciate where you are coming from. I'd never looked into the Marcus/Susan dynamic myself, but after reading your ficlet I felt inspred to write the drabble and who knows... Susan's angst over relationships really came to a head with the loss of Marcus - I think I may need to view those episodes and see if my muse will comply.
