Vid: Crossroads
I think I've finally achieved my goal of making a solid G'Kar character vid (oh crap, now I have to do the Londo one to match). And in a rare fit of sensitivity to those watching the show for the first time, it doesn't spoil anything past the 40-minute mark of "Dust to Dust."
The song is Tracy Chapman's "Crossroads," and it reminded me of G'Kar the first time I heard it, so I knew I was going to have to do a vid. :D I liked the idea of framing it through "Dust to Dust," since that's really where G'Kar undergoes his personality shift, so I didn't use any clips that came from later in the show than that (okay, except for the bits with G'Kar and Londo in the future, but since Londo has that vision in the first episode, I decided it didn't count). It was very weird vidding from early-season G'Kar's point of view, since that's something we don't get a lot of experience with; he's not often the character you empathize with until after D2D. Turns out G'Kar really does hate everyone in season one.
