B5 verses

Sep 15, 2008 21:54

My posting day again. This time I present on your court some my verses (more precisely, songs) which were translated into English by my good friend tigerofsiberia .
I hope, that translation has turned out close enough to the original text.

Every my dream is now torn asunder,
The faces of my friends are now looking void,
The friable dream is now lying destroyed.
I see darkness coming and I hear the thunder.

Every my dream is now torn asunder,
My heart's feeling like at ignominous trial,
We'll go through the long night, so gloomy and frightful.
The country I loved is now suffering plunder.

Every my dream is now torn asunder,
The candle of my life has almost died out.
That's death which my heaven tells me about.
From now on, for each one his fate is decided.

Sleeping in Light

"It's still early, and it's still dark.
You've awoke, my dear.
Very soon I shall embark:
The time to part is near."

"Life was like an instant -
It has come to cease.
In the stars, so distant
You'll embrace your peace.

You are my devotion,
You are crystal sky.
You are quiet ocean,
Shining dream of mine."

"You are nightfall coming,
Clear dawning light.
Ardent blaze of summer,
Coolness of midnight."

"Early in the morning
You are putting out.
I shall keep from yearning;
It has been prejudged."

"Don't be sorrow, dear,
Please, keep standing tall.
I'll dry up your tear
Where no shadow fall.

For you are my devotion,
You are crystal sky.
You are quiet ocean,
Shining dream of mine."

"You are nightfall coming,
Clear dawning light.
Ardent blaze of summer,
Coolness of midnight."
