LOTRO News
Okay. So I found out through Tumblr last Friday that LOTRO is going to be closing most of their servers down. They just released the list today. Most of my toons are on the ones that are closing down (Silverlode and Riddermark, though I think I have more on others...it's been years since I've even touched them, and I have a feeling they're not even there anymore. Nonetheless, once those servers are closed, the toons that were on them are going bye-bye...not that I care, because I haven't used them, and I don't even remember their names).
Anywho, I'm considering moving to the Brandywine server. I think I had a toon or two on that one also, but I can't remember. This was way back before I figured out how to buy more character slots lol. If that doesn't work out, I'll likely be moving to the Landroval one.
EDIT: I'm likely going to move to the Landroval server. I checked the forums for anything Silverlode-related, and it looks like all the bigger kinships (of which I've been a part of at one point or another) are moving there. Plus, all the big-name players I've run into over the years are heading there too, so it'll be nice to see some familiar faces while I'm there.
PLEASE NOTE: This is all so sudden right now, so my plans to move to Landroval are not set in stone yet. I may move to a different one, I might not. I don't know. But I've got my sights set on Landroval right now.

I will update this later once I have more details. I'll be doing a lot of digging around and deleting things that I don't use...it's been a while since I've played this game, because it takes up HOURS of time...that's how addicting it is.
UPDATE 1: The ones with the strikethrough are the ones that I've checked that don't have any toons on them, plus the EU servers. I know for a fact that I don't have any on the EU servers, because they all have the [DE] or [FR] or [EU] markers by their names in the login window. The ones in red are the ones that I've confirmed have my toons on them.
