Yes. The countdown timer was set to end for my at Midnight Australian time, but the counter ended 5 hours earlier for the German people and their page went up first, and it stayed up for 3 hours till someone over at Cryptic noticed and took it down till the other timers ran out.

Was thinking of Imperial Strike Force, but honestly... We started talking with some of the Ministry people today, the ones that moved to the fleet: Elite Defense Starfleet. We are thinking, and we plan to ask everyone in our fleet first, if we want to merge with that fleet for a green side fleet. If they name the fleet something Romulan... I think we should. They will be starting with over 300 members on day 1; we will have...6 at the most. We can barely do base upgrades as is because contributions outside of fleet events are almost non-existant. I think we will be severely struggling from the get go with a green side fleet. I've tried to recruit, but am not getting interest. I almost bet the IRF's top dogs are spreading crap and I know I'm not the only one that thinks so.

I think we'll be getting a fair amount, but anything bet we'll have to purchase a good deal from the C store. I can see certain ships being available only through the store...same with uniforms. I can see us getting access to the civvies that you see them with on NR, but something snazzy like a military outfit will probably be purchasable. I guess we'll find out. I plan to go on Tribble (the test server) when everything his it for beta test in the next couple of weeks.

I think merging our fleet with theirs is a good idea. That way, we'll have more people on our side to back us up if the IRF commanders won't leave us alone (and by that I also mean by their spreading lies about us behind our backs and whatnot). And like you said, there would be more people contributing to the SB and Embassy projects. We can't be on 24/7 grinding out fleet marks...I'm going to be honest here, it does get a bit tedious after doing it day after day (I try to squeeze in as much time as I can to get my lowbie toons up to 50 so I can get them in on the Fleet Mark stuff, and I still have a long way to go with them).

We'll get uniforms, I'm sure of it. They'll probably have canon outfits from the shows in the C-Store, kind of like what they're doing with Starfleet side--TNG, TOS, and ENT uniforms are all available from the C-Store, while like the only two canon uniforms you get for no Zen are the TWOK one and the DS9/First Contact one. They're likely going to do the same with the Romulan uniforms.

As for ships, I'm guessing they're going to at least have the basic Birds-of-Prey, Mogai and D'Deridex to earn as you progress in rank (I don't see why they wouldn't). They're likely going to offer the Scimitar in the C-Store, since that's a huge monster of a ship that's had a one-of-a-kind appearance on film. With that in mind, they're probably going to offer new non-canon exclusive-to-STO Reman ships in the C-Store, kind of like the Nausicaan ships on the KDF side. I don't recall seeing any Nausicaan ships in canon...

Just throwing out a few theories here.

Oh I know that about that FM thing, but if everyone could take 10 - 20 minutes and run a couple of colony runs or something, it would help a lot. Me, Tarvik and Jen have given about 250K in dilith the past week, and over 4000 FM's to projects. It feels like we're doing it solo and it's making me want to quit the game, honestly. That is the main reason why Ministry left to join EDS, because they were sick of being 4 people that had to grind some 14 hours a day to get to where they are now. We have 2 upgrades going that cost almost 5400 FM's and 350K dil each. We cannot do it with just 1 or 2 people. It gets, like you said, tiring, but such is the way of small fleets; you grind like mad or you get nothing accomplished. I am really starting to think that when Romulans launch, that we need to merge with them. 300+ members means there would be no grind for anyone except those who want to do it. We've also had to make it so no one can purchase from the provisioned store because the last provisioning projects were completed solo by me and my husband, and they were expensive for so few provisions. I think we need to stay with the "rule" that most fleets have... 150K at least in FC or no one gets provision store access.

We'll find out, but I'm guessing they will make generic stuff for free, and bundles for sale...like TOS, TNG, Tal Shiar...that kind of thing.

Yup. I, too, think the Scimitar will be either in a lockbox or in the C-store.

Jen doesn't want to join, he's actually pissed about me even mentioning the prospect. Says that all we want are all of the goodies/shinies that come with a large fleet. FFS and FML... >.> It's like, I donated almost a full million in FC to the IRF at one point, I got nothing to show for it. I've been doing that here...nothing to show for it because the upgrades are too expensive to complete virtually solo. I ask you...what is so wrong with wanting to NOT grind virtually 10 hours a day? What is wrong with wanting to save for my rep projects (I need about 250K worth of gear on 1 toon.) What is wrong with wanting to come on and play VS coming on and running FM's for 2 - 5 hours straight with no break?

I'm almost ready to just quit and join a large fleet of at least 100 regulars, anything as long as it means no more tediousness. The game isn't even fun anymore. You think running 1 - 2 colonies whenever you're on is bad, try doing that sort of thing daily for upwards of 10+ hours. It's mentally/emotionally draining... and a video game should never be those things.

Jen wants to start a brand new greenside fleet and grind it... Me? I'd rather join something with a clusterfuck of members from the get-go, at least we'd feel a little more relaxed. At least I know I would. We would still need to donate 200K FC to be able to buy from the stores and all, but that is easily done in a months time or less. The game just isn't fun anymore. I might take a hiatus until Romulans launch in May...

I see where you're coming from. I haven't upgraded any of my rep projects, now that you mention it. (Going to hop on STO right now to check on them.)

And how often in Jen even on? I rarely ever see him...either he's never on anymore, or I'm just on at the wrong time.

He is UK based and has a 6 day work week. He is on every day though, usually from 9am - noon, 9pm - 3am Australian time. He grinds as much as he can, but it and other things are currently making him extremely depressed. I am also fighting depression, but more so from RL than STO, though grinding almost endlessly isn't helping. It's sucking the fun out of everything.

However...on a good note we are getting a website/forums sorted for us! http://www.imperialstrikeforce.shivtr.com/ We're still working stuff out with it, and you'll need to sign up once the applications get sorted and all that. We are also thinking of asking those who use the STO forums, to use a fleet sig...but someone would have to make it because I'm generally lousy at anything involving graphics. My current STO sig was the best I could do in about 2 hours. >.>
