now that prom's over, i can't help but wonder what everyone's going to talk about. there was a decent amount of stuff that happened...it could keep people talking for maybe a week, but then it'll all fade to memory. prom was pretty fun for what it was...lots of walking around drunk and saying hi to people that i know. it was funny how almost everyone in our grade was all messed up at least a little. i wish there were more nights like prom, just without the formality of it. i got pretty drunk on the way over, but not out of my mind. it was enough to get me through most of it kinda tipsy. me and my date didnt dance at all, but i dont think either of us regret it. it was a lot different than i imagined to be hoenst...i pictured prom like it is in old movies with gyms all dressed up and slow dances and a live band or something. i'm glad it wasn't like that though, cause that would have been so damn boring. i'm glad it was out in westwood or santa monica or wherever the hell it was because it made long limo rides necessary and those were fun. the ride back was crazy cause a few people drank too much, one in particular. it was pretty nasty shit, i won't go into details. i slept at sam silnas house that night and then went through the next day w/ what i'm pretty sure was my first hangover, since i'm not a regular drinker at all. felt like shit but for some reason when i saw the movie mean girls it really cheered me up. i thought it was really funny, maybe its just cause i was in a weird mood...i'd need to see it again.

nothing much to look forward to right now besides summer, and trust me..i'm looking forward more now than ever before. the big downside to summer is that i won't get to see a lot of people on a regular basis like i do during the school year. seeing people becomes something that you have to deliberately plan, it can't just happen everyday. oh well, its not a big deal, just my only real gripe about summer.
