I'm so jazzed!
Went to see Peter Murphy with Carlos at House of Blues (which I have never been to) and it rocked my socks! iTunes is getting all my money as I go through and collect all the glorious music he has produced. Apparently he goes waaaay back too, which is great cause that means I have many a cd to paw through and swoon over. And he was such a happy british man! Tossing stuff around and parading with a large pole/stick that I worried he was going to use against the mosh pit's heads at some point but he thankfully refrained.
But there was one song, one I dont remember coming across before that he played as a last encore and I am desperate to locate it before the tune leaves me. It was the most haunting, enchanting, and touching melody I've heard...my favorite of the evening and I have to own it.
Fabbity-fab and I will now make it a point to see more talented people when they come to town. Scouts honor! OH! and that lady that did the opening act! She's amazing and I lost my chance to buy her cd by being slow. CURSES!
