I recounted and today, the 7th, was actually my 90th day of sobriety, not tomorrow. sweet. i betcha i can make it to 120! oh yeah!!!
my mom told me today that i'm getting fat again... I replied with "when have I ever NOT been fat?" and walked away. yessss. woman drops over 100lbs because she had surgery and suddenly everyone else's weight is an issue. bah!
production meeting thursday - 1st one. excited! I gotta talk about compensation. I can't work for free yano! I'm lookin at doin a package deal for em.. $20/hr but if they guarantee me a certain amount of time then i'll do a lil package deal:
For example
20/ Hour = $200.00 per day
5 Day week = $1,000.00 or $800.00 with discount
1 Month = $4,000.00 or $3,200.00 with discount
I got this shit under wraps!
Talked to Simon too.. he said that I'm on the only candidate from the first week of interviewers that he's considering for the Sous chef position, and that they have more people to interview this Wed and he'll let me know Thurs. I went for a position at a new restaurant opening in Pembroke today.. gotta go back tomorrow for an assessment/2nd interview.
Goal = make enough money to pay off debt while saving enough money to put toward my loans and move out (50/50). Then.. move the fuck out to a place where I'll be more inline with my career goals i.e. New Mexico, Boston or Chicago (LA is way too expensive.. so is Chicago but not nearly as much and so is NY) so over the next year (which is how long I'm planning for this all to take) I will be scouting housing, businesses and potential employers in those 3 locations. I'll fly to each one and check em out too - studio tours and what not. But I'm gonna work on the independent stuff down here to keep building credits in the meantime and for a few extra bucks but mostly for credits. NEVER WORK FOR FREE!!!
on that note - i gotta get up early, for once, so I'm going to bed early.. for once. PEACE AND CHICKEN GREASE!
