Thoughts Of Insomnia

I should be in bed but I just thought of a metaphor for life....
Life is like a wall. You can always cover it up coat by coat with paint. Brighter colors for days that seem brighter, and darker colors for the days that seem darker. You can add layer after layer. The more you add though, the sooner it will start to chip. If everyone could show their true self and true color then we wouldn't have to worry about the peeling or chipping of paint. Also, if you paint too many dark coats will the bright ever be as bright? If you paint it just once black will the bright yellow or blue, or ... that you wanted ever shine truly? No. If you go threw life unhappy and constanly putting yourself and others down your paint will never be as bright as it can be. It will remain the dark and deathly color you put forward. But even if you have dark paint down deep where you think no one can see, it will eventually show through your fake temporary bright paint.
Let those you love know your true color, and let those that see you, see your bright colors not dimmed from the dark beneath, but bright and shining for all to enjoy, see, and smile from the sight.
Live like there is no tomorrow, because in this world, its sad but true, who knows if you have tomorrow?
Think to yourself, what color of paint do you want others to remeber? A dark black, or a bright happy yellow?....
