Blue Screen of Death from Above
Working in the office today. Boy, is there nothing to do...
I spent the morning trying to figure out just what was wrong with one of the office computers, only to sigh and groan in frustration when I began to realize just what was wrong.
The problem: User profile doesn't load at login, computer logs user in as a temporary guest.
The reason: User profile is MIA. As are its files in documents and settings.
The solution: Go get a cup of coffee and move on to the next item on the work list, which happens to be writing blurbs for the company website.
Hey, I spent nearly two hours trying to figure this much out, thanks. Still, I am open to suggestions.
In other news, I really like the weather today. Lunch wasn't ordered in, so I may just take a walk in the sunshine.
