On Friday, I took what must have been a very long walk. I'm not sure how long it took; it must have took a few hours, but I did stop a few times along the way.
(Random insert: Write the name of your crush on your eraser, and as you use the eraser, wearing it down, you help bring your hearts closer together. By wearing him down, I guess.)
I got back home around nine (I think), with a heavy blue bag from the second video game store I visited (feel free to guess what I bought), but ran into a little problem. I couldn't find my keys in my purse. Not even sure why I brought that purse along, the see-through one with the Water Boys logo on the front. Didn't really need half of the things I took...
I wandered to the car, thinking that I must have left them there when I went to grab my jacket before my epic walk, but it wasn't there.
So I was stuck with trying to find a way back in the house without my key. The front door was lockd, of course, and the side door, despite its usual reluctance to stay closed on occassion, was locked as well. So, I came in through the bedroom window.
That was fun, swinging my bags onto my sofa before taking off my shoes and trying to swing my legs in as well. I think it would have been more graceful to have just fallen in the room back-first, but in the end it didn't matter.
Not five minutes after betting inside, I look in my purse again and found my keys hiding in a corner of the bag, underneath the notebook I took with me. You wouldn't think you miss finding a pair of keys in a see-through bag, but there you go.
