Yup, there is so much interpretation for art. It makes it fun. :)
Oh yes, that is exactly what I saw out there about the animals and I was pretty much 'wtf. who the hell said that?' sort of thing because really? I'll only accept such facts if they were biology-related but no, symbology is part of a cultural factor and (as you said) is not entirely universal. :\
Indeed, the majority blames everything onto the company/career for his depression/sadness/emotional behavior. It's definitely a part of it, but not really his 'entire' reason for making all the reference and self-proclamation. It just goes to show how most people don't know their idol/artist/celebrity because they don't really understand them to that very core or the message they're really trying to convey to their audience. I mean, it's alright to have your own opinions and interpretations, but it's not so great when you're truly convinced that there's only 'one' answer out there. It's like saying life is a math problem and you just have to solve it with 'one' answer to get through with it. But no one gets the same problems. Life screws you over in different ways and saying all these different problem can be solved with the same answer is ridiculously a closed-minded answer. It's true that there's a social norm and a standard people have to live up to in order to be consider 'healthy' but that's survival and just a 'method' that people can chose to live with or without using to get their answer. I hope that made sense. I don't like comparing math and science but those things resolve around logic. OTL
I had a feeling the MV was about his image and concept/feelings mostly but I wasn't sure how to put two and two together. The music mostly distracted me. lol.
I whole-heartedly agree about the psychological factor. It's not him alone, who is struggling, and there are enemies on all sides. Even he, himself, mentioned that no one would know the 'right' story behind their situation because you got to be a 1000% good guesser to imagine what they're going through correctly. u__u
LOL. I'm glad you did a review. It's pretty insightful and much more interesting than I could have expected from someone else. :) (I have pretty high expectations- and I'm weird like that). Some would have too much of their 'definite' opinions/beliefs so at times, there are even exaggerations that I can't find it logical enough to believe. But anyway, such a long reply to a long reply. I don't know whether it's a good thing or not but I like that open-mind of yours. :)

Just... so much YES. LOL
For me, I think the MV dealt with his struggle in the Industry... but I wanted to think about, "who is Kim Jaejoong, really, and how would anything affect him?" because I personally think he can be really vulnerable, and the idol lifestyle is really stressful on top of it all. It makes me feel like "who am I? what do I want?" is something they probably ask themselves on a daily basis more often than not. :/ I mean... everyone does, but how they must live seems like it would make it even harder for them sometimes - and he has *so much* in his life on top of that. I mean, finding out he was adopted years ago, struggling to the top in 2 different industries and cultures, his relationships with people, the expectations he has to live up to, his own dreams/wants as a man.. it's so much that it can't be detached from any one incident... they'd all tie together for him, as a part of him.
I don't think I'll ever actually know him LOL But as a fan, I can't help but want to try. XD
Lol. Thank you. :) I'm glad it didn't weird you out. (As most my explanations tend to do).
That's true. If you didn't know about his background, you would've guessed he was very firm about his existence. But everyone eventually questions their life, like a simple conversation and your friend just had to ask 'how's life?' and not 'how are you doing?' situation. I guess it's a humanity thing because I sometime question why I'm 'here' and if I'm going to die anyway, 'why exist?' His MV truly has a lot of depth and I just wish people could at least appreciate the perspective a little.
I like it when things tie together because then it becomes mind-blowing. ;) Also, just a side note, but since I've read this, I've been watching the MV over and over to see all the connections! It's a really wonderful sight when things 'click' and begin to connect together. :) I'm still thankful for your review! XD
Same here, as a fan, I want to try to understand too! <3
