Oh wow - August 6th. Where has my summer gone? In less than a month I'll already be in London. Yipes!
On Friday I received a package containing a shirt. It's green. And it says Lambchop Loves Me. Meggie Eisen-Berkeley: I love you.
Well... back to my reading. And then after that I'll try to tackle my second research paper. I've got so much to read before I leave - and I haven't done hardly any of it. I don't feel so bad because I think I am farther along than everyone else I've talked to. But still - I want to get it all done because I want to get the most out of this trip. Oh well - I'm not going to worry too much.

My grandmother bought me a new purse for my trip - I wanted something that could hold a lot of stuff (notebooks, camera, etc.) and also fit snugly on my shoulder and under my arm (like the tiny one I have now). And I found one that I love. And now it is mine. It's so wonderful. I love it. Like... love.
I really want a pair of galoshes. So I can stomp in puddles. I want them to be yellow. Because then maybe my feet would look like duckies.
My camera broke, and I had to mail it to the Canon Factory Services place in Illinois. I hope it comes back. I hope it works. I hope it doesn't cost too much. I miss Jodi. She lives in Illinois. My camera is my life. Jodi is my bestest friend. Illinois has got it going on.
