Four classes down, two to go! Today was my painting final. I'm pretty happy with the end result, and the class as a whole. I was really nervous about it considering I hadn't truly painted since I was a sophomore in high school, and that was an "Under the Sea" themed mural for a children's playroom. But as a sophomore in college I was pleastantly suprised.
The idea was to take a "master" artist then render their style into a painting of your own from a picture. I obviously chose Van Gogh, which was a challange/learning experience.
There's still more I want to add, but I can always do that on my own.
Paint a master artist's painting, I chose Cezanne.
First color painting (we did other black and white/monochromatic stuff before hand).
We painted blocks... and then put them into a painting.
Working with a palette of only for colors, then black and white as well.
One last thing that is somewhat associated with painting...
I love the google design for Munch's birthday, so clever.
Oh crap, time to study. Need to stop procrastinating. I've been so busy that I almost forgot tomorrow was my birthday. Mmm Berfday cake ice cream here I come! Hmm finals can suck it!
