Merry Christmas to you....and me
This is a little bit late but Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for all the comments on my previous post, I picked up my Christmas pressie today. :)
Chanel classic East/West bag in black lambskin and silver hardware
Originally I was going to go for the medium/large flap but decided I like the look of this better on me. Plus I am planning on using it mostly as an evening bag and the adjustable strap means I can also use it as a clutch. I tried putting some of my stuff in the East/West and surprisingly it fits pretty much almost the same as the medium flap.
Now what about that beautiful Mikimoto necklace some of you may ask. Well as much as I still love the necklace, I decided it was not worth the price tag of SGD$10,000. My dad said he would buy it for me if I really wanted it but I would rather he buy me a diamond with that money. As exquisite as the necklace is, I'm not sure why the price is so high when other Mikimoto necklaces with much larger pearls/diamonds are going for an average of SGD$5000-7500. :(
Anyway to make up for my disappointment at not getting the necklace, my sweetie hubby decided to get me a little present from Mikimoto even though we have already both agreed not to exchange presents this Christmas since we have only just moved back to Singapore and are currently not working. He was really sneaky about it too and secretly ran off to buy it on the pretense of needing to go back to the hotel first to use the toilet while my sister and I were busy picking up some toiletries. Thank you baby, I love my new necklace. While it is just something very simple, it means a lot more to me than my dad's present coz of the thought that went behind it.
