Ceviche and other random stuff

I remember the first time I had ceviche was at The Summit last year when I had dinner there with Merrill to celebrate us getting registered. That dish totally wowed me and I would say was the highlight of that dinner for me. However seeing as it was a fancy restaurant, I didn't think I would be able to recreate the dish. The second time I had it was sometime back in January when I went to a friend's place for lunch and she made ceviche as a starter. Again I really enjoyed it and that's when I realised I can definitely attempt to make this at home. So I did today, and it was actually surprisingly easy. All I really needed to do was to chop, mix, chill and that was it! I used kingfish, same as what the restaurant and my friend used as it was just the easiest white fish to obtain seeing as I wanted sashimi grade fish. Very refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. I'll definitely be making it again.

Also some other random photos I took at the office. The first is my new (ish) Miu Miu bag with my Hermes Twilly tied onto it. I had the Twilly for ages but totally forgot all about it until beverly came over a few weeks ago and she was wearing hers. The colour is a bit hard to match though, it'll probably go better with my black Gucci but I've been mostly using the Miu Miu recently. It definitely won't go with my Balenciagas as they're the Blue India and Bordeaux colours. And I don't use my Dior Girly Boston anymore. So for now the Miu Miu it is.

And I know CNY is over but a colleague brought these angbaos back from the Hong Kong office and they're so cute! I especially like the one with the dimsum on it. Will have to wait till next year to use them though. :Þ
