Nope, not at all. He was very careful never to mention marriage at all just so I wouldn't suspect anything. In fact he even went as far to as say he isn't ready to think about marriage yet until at least after a year of dating.

not as exciting as yours ;) but still very nice! he took me to marin headlands which overlook SF & the golden gate bridge - and when we were there, he started saying lovey dovey stuff and I thought it was just regular sayings then suddenly he got down on 1 knee, whipped out the ring and proposed! I was in total shock so all I could say was "wow ...." and he was still on his knees so finally he had to ask "so is it a yes or no?" LOL! I had no inclination he was going to propose cos we never talked about marriage so it was a total surprise :) he had made surprise reservations for dinner afterwards. your proposal is really awesome! I showed it to the Lams too! hehehehe!
