Episode 10.2!
Welcome back to The Longs Family!! I know you all have been very patient with me. I’ve had quite the month… I started college on the 22nd and I just finished this Fitness Study for Anytime Fitness (I lost 8lbs, one dress size, one BMI point and .6% of my body fat in 21 days!) so things have been BUSY! I’ve finally got a moment to myself so I figured I’d better work on my legacy or heads might roll!
LAST TIME we saw Winter move to Riverview, one of my favorite towns. She spent her time going on dates with Gary. She fell in love and now they are going to get MARRIED! Yay! So without any further adieu let’s see their wedding day!
Winter spent the night of her hen party dreaming of her wedding. She knew she didn’t have much of a reason to throw a big wedding party and that it would be just her and Gary, but she knew that was all she needed.
Winter’s Wedding dress was more of a 1920’s flapper girl dress, but she loved those older styles… At least the shoes were some what modern right?
Gary came over and gave her flowers all on his own! He must really have fallen for her!
Gary: “It’s our wedding day, what is a wedding without flowers?”
Winter: “Wow! Gary! Thank you!"
Winter: “So shall we get married or what?”
Gary: “Sounds like a good idea!”
Gary: “I promise to be yours and yours alone. I promise love you forever and always! Here’s your ring my new wife!”
Winter: “I promise to love you forever and always, to be yours and yours alone! Here’s your ring, new husband!”
The kiss!
Cake time!
Gary: “Do you want a big piece or a tiny piece?”
Winter: “Gimme one the same size as yours!”
In Winter’s head: “HEY! THAT’S MY CHAIR!”
Winter: “Oh please do sit here, it’s the only chair I own…”
Wedding night time…
Winter: “Oh Gary, I’ve been dreaming of this night!”
Gary: “I’ll try to meet your expectations!”
Winter: “Gary, that was amazing!”
Gary: “You weren’t bad yourself!”
The next morning Gary starting looking for a job…
Gary: “What job is right for me? Hmm….”
Gary got a job with the military so he headed to the Gym to gain some athletic skill…
Gary: “WOOO! They got tvs at the treadmills… Wait… What is this show? Oh GAWD NO! NOT THE HAPPY BUNNY SHOW!!!”
Meanwhile, back at home…
Winter: “I love kitties… I hope Gary’s not allergic…”
This is one of my favorite paintings!
Winter had a gurgle in her tummy… then the violent urge to vomit came on…
Winter: “BLLLLAARFGHGHARF!”
Gary returned from the gym and Winter was continuing her kitty painting…
Gary: “Are you using this?”
Winter: “Nope, go right ahead!”
They painted and sculpted all evening and then headed to bed together… So cute together aren’t they?
The next morning Winter was putting the finishing touches on her kitty painting when she felt a flutter in her tummy that wasn’t followed by the urge to throw up.
Winter: ‘Oh! Could I be…?”
Gary was walking out to the art room and Winter stopped him.
Winter: “Are you ready for this?”
Gary: “Ready for what?”
Winter: “I’m pregnant!”
Gary: “What?! WHAT?!”
Winter: “Are you not happy?”
Gary: “I’m just worried about money and being a good dad and…”
Winter: “It will be just fine… You’ll see… Here, let’s go do some art to calm you down…”
Winter was commissioned to make a scrap metal sculpture so she was working hard on it… Gary worked on upping his art skills…
Gary: “Do you think it’s a boy or a girl?”
Winter: “It’s too soon to tell…”
I’m not using any gender fruits or sending any sims to the hospital… If they go then it’s on their own.
Gary took a shower before work… and broke the shower… So now he will work on his handiness!
Gary: “Stupid shower… Why’d you have to go and break?!
Time to go to work!
Gary: “Yay! My first day! I hope they aren’t too hard on me!”
He does know what they do in the military right?
Winter was almost done with the scrap metal sculpture she was commissioned to make.
Winter: ‘Whew! I hope I get paid a lot for this…”
Jon Lessen was the one who asked for the sculpture.
Winter: “Hello! I have your art right here…”
Jon: ‘Whoa! This is sweet! Thank you! Here’s your pay!”
Jon gave her $3,000 for it!
Winter took her new money and went to the book store to get some baby books before she was due.
Gary came home about the same time as Winter…
Gary: “Whew, who knew the military was such a pain!”
Winter: “Oh! Gary! The baby is kicking!! Here feel!”
Gary felt the kicking baby and smiled instantly.
Gary: “This is amazing!”
Gary listened to Winter’s growing belly…
Gary: “Oh… Wow!”
He seemed to be more okay with having a baby now…
Gary started reading up on pregnancy and the first year of the baby’s life…
Gary: ‘Ewww… Tar like poo? Gross! Oh wait, that only happens once… I’ll try to avoid it…”
Winter was making dinner, PB and J!
Winter: “I like grape jelly but Gary likes apple jelly… hmmm”
I hated Winter’s everyday pregnancy clothes, but her sleeping clothes were CUTE!
(Before my computer’s video card melted I had a bunch of cc on my game… including this tv. I have no clue where Aoxa got it but I know I got it from her… It’s now no longer in my game but if you find it somewhere, lemme know!)
Gary: “Woo! This is hard stuff!”
Gary needed to gain another Athletic skill point to get that promotion…
Winter finally mastered sculpting and could do hedges now…
Winter: “WOO! This is awesome!
She thinks that now, but wait until she gets a splinter!
Winter: “Oh god! Is that a splinter? No? AHHHH! BABY TIME!!!!”
Gary was at work… Would Winter have the baby alone at home or at the hospital?
Winter ended up driving to the hospital… Good choice since no one was home to help her…
Winter: “Just gotta breathe… The hospital isn’t that far from home and Gary can get to me there… OOOOO!”
Winter walked right up to the doors of the hospital,cool and calm…
Black haired lady: “Whoa! Winter Longs is pregnant? Where was that in the tabloids?”
Pink dress chick: “GASP! Winter Longs! I just saw Winter Longs!”
She may have been a big celebrity in Sunset Valley, but she never knew she was so popular in Riverview!
And….
It’s…
A….
GIRL! This is Starfire Longs!
Starfire was born with Artistic and Easily Impressed traits. She likes Aqua, Mac and Cheese, and Rockabilly music. I’m also thinking of getting rid of the CAS photos… no need to have double the information!
Winter, Gary and Starfire heading home… No Gary didn’t miss the birth, but I did miss him running into the hospital…
Gary: “Wooooooo! Yeeeee-Wooooooo! I love you Star!”
Gary was getting in some personal time with his new baby…
And then Starfire got to age up…
Gary: “HAHA! Look at that lone candle on the cake! So funny!”
Winter: “Well, she is just a baby!”
Here she is! Miss Starfire Longs the Toddler!
She has her mom’s hair and eyes, that is Seal Hair and Light Blue eyes!
The very first thing Starfire needed was a potty…
Winter: “Well, let’s give this a go… Please go potty in the potty…”
Starfire: “Hmmmm Okay…”
(Sorry the lighting is so bad, I was short on cash an could only buy one light in the room and it’s off to the side…)
Starfire and Winter, like Mother like daughter!
Starfire fell asleep right away… It was a long day for her, Birthday, potty, loads of attention from both Mommy and Daddy… She had quite the day.
