first day of class

I love our new apartment. Even though the rent is kinda high, the location is great and it's clean and so cute! I keep wanting to buy stuff to fill it at Urban Outfitters, except I've been spending too much money already. It feels so good to be back on campus, and the past couple of days were so relaxing - eating sushi, moving in, wandering around and shopping. An American Appearal store just opened up around the corner from my apartment, and they're giving 15% off to anyone who has a student ID, so I was excited.

Classes started today, and surprisingly, they weren't all bad. I actually kinda enjoyed Molecular Biology lecture. I also had my sociology/german 212 class, which I'm only taking to fulfill the annoying humanities distribution requirement, and I swear, I wanted to stab myself with my pen by the end of the hour. Even though it was cross-listed in the German department and it's called 'Sports and Society', it didn't really seem to have much to do with German at all. The class was like 80% guys, and not even really hot guys. So, I just switched into Tricia's American Culture class, called 'Love and Sex on the Beach'. It sounds so much more interesting, and I've had the professor before.
