I knew I should've updated earlier as its all piled up on me. This past weekend was Graduation. So yay! It was a very nice ceremony. The graduation speaker was fantastic. Very smart, well spoken, and short speech. Again we had the bagpipes playing. It was actually a very nice day out, I didn't get sunburned or over hot like last graduation. At the end we all recessed around the fountain and flung red roses at it at the completion of the school song. How very Tuxedo Mask of us neh? I know there are people I'm going to miss, and the campus...as well as other things and other ppl I won't miss at all.
Life after college. Fun. Really. Yea so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself now. Monday was kind of a sucky day for the Gaddis household. Dad went to work and got sent back home because there was no work. Then Mom got a call saying her Medical Leave was up and she's been terminated. She's elligible for rehire as soon as she gets the go ahead from the doctors but still. We're not sure that its entirely legal for them to do that to her, so we'll see what happens. Then Tuesday I took her for Chemo and she couldn't do it because of a UTI and the flu (which Dad now has so pray I don't catch it). Anyway thats been pushed back a week. Thankfully its her last treatment so it'll be over soon.
Today things are looking up a bit. My brother got a job yesterday working with a landscaping company so go him. Get this he wants to become a Family Therapist. Wierd yea? Anyways I went to A-ville today to drop off an application at Builtmore. I think I might actually get the job. I hope so anyway I really want it. You guys should be proud of me I managed to find my way by myself to the employment office by myself and from there to B&N so I could stop in for a much craved Chai. Go me! hehe. Also got my grad pics back today, and i'll try to get some up online soon! Promise.

My LJ name...Babyduckling. Well thats simple comes from 'the dreams.' You lot know which ones I'm sure. It also has its basis in real life. When we went to the Lord of the Rings midnight premiere someone commented to Leah that she looked like she was leading around a pack of ducklings. Well in the infamous beach house dreams we all called Leah Mama Duck cause she was the one you went to for medical attention and such. The rest of us were her babyducklings. We even had numbers, I think I was #6. Can't remember for sure. Anyway thats where it comes from. :)
