Birthday things...
So apparently I'm 22 now. *mini freak out session* It didn't hit me until the day before my B-day. I was sitting in my room waiting on everyone to get here and the news was on (I forgot to turn the channel when I turned on the tv...yes I do that often) and they were talking about the anniversary of the Challenger explosion. They were saying how the next day was the 20th anniversary and I looked kinda funny at the tv and went shouldn't that be 19th afterall that happened on my 2nd birthday...then it hit me. yea. I feel a bit old. You know what else makes me feel old? My cousin Amanda sent me pictures today of her baby. She's my age. He's soo cute tho! Charlie is just precious.
So this weekend was most excellent. Was sooooo happy to see everyone. I did pretty well for myself too loot wise. Twas a blast with all the things we did. Good food. I am soo spoiled now, that many meals outside of cafeteria. Salsa Fresh would be perfect if they just served sopapillas. still craving one. I adore Plato's Closet for shopping (got a really cute shirt that looks excellent on me). Even if jeans are a pain in my tail. My size 14 (they are stretch so really a size 16 or 18 but I prefer to ignore that reality) are falling off my butt, yet my size 12 stretch won't go over my hips. Someone like to explain that to me? Whatever I still love shopping (even if we had to go into hell to get there :-P). Harry Potter in the IMAX.....well to steal a word from Ruth....Pottergasm! Its fabulous. I liked it even better this go round.
O yea and whilst I was in the Gym watching Dancing with the Stars George Hamilton came on...and he was in full Zorro costume!!!! He did the Paso Doble as his Zorro persona. Twas fabulous. Needless to say I was absolutely giddy. We all know I love Zorro. yay.
Ok well I'm a happy girl. Cept for the fact that I have Chemistry tomorrow and prolly a quiz in there I should be studying for. Instead of studying however, I've been reading all afternoon. I may not be prepared for Chem but at least I've finished Catspell. Thats a good thing in my mind anyway. Now to set back and watch Ruth and Erika fight over who gets to read it first. Allrighties I'm gone...I've gotta get away from the computer and walk around sitting the way I was my knee is now really sore....ick. Laters!!!!!
