For the 10/02/12 Bump I wrote :
Caspian/Susan(NARNIA) -
Believe in your Feeling
"Where is Susan?" whispered softly Caspian when he saw the Pevensies.
"She is still alive, Caspian" gently answered Lucy.
"Oh, I see" smiled Caspian "Your world still live".
Lucy nodded.
"So, I'll wait for her" he added, his dark eyes shining.
"Don't" sadly answered Peter "She won't come to us. Not now. Not ever. She doesn't believe in Narnia and Aslan anymore."
"Don't mind Peter's words" Edmund told Caspian later "He suffers much more than you think about losing Susan forever"
"I don't" whispered Caspian "But I'll believe that she'll come to us in the end. I can feel it in my heart. It's a feeling. I know she'll come to us."
Edmund gently pated his shoulder.
Caspian sat alone looking at all those worlds in front of his eyes, watching his beautiful Susan living fully her life in spite of the grief. She had three children and seven great-children. In the end, she felt asleep lying alone, a smile on her lips. He didn't need to be next to her to hear her heart whispered...Caspian.
