Touya spent all the afternoon in the kitchen with his dad. In their family that wasn’t a surprise to have men cooking even if generally it was always his dad who is doing the cooking he, on his part, definitely doesn’t have been gifted. Still, he had promised he’ll help for the Halloween partly like every years. So he was digging into pumpkins to extract the flesh his dad needed to make the pumpkin’s tarts and then trying to carve details into the cucurbitaceous plant. He wanted them to be terrifying but they kind of always looked like funny to him.
He had to admit that he just couldn’t wait for his little sister to go back home and find all the Halloween garnishments. She has always been so fond of Halloween and he was so fond of her. Tonight Tomoyo and ShaoLin will be here too to celebrate the day. It’ll be fantastic as always.
When he finished all the pumpkins they bought he decided to get ready for the night, he knew that as always when he’d be finished with all the horror stories he had chosen to tell them, the little girls won’t agree to let him go and sleep in his bedroom so he has to prepare the couch for the three of them and he dearly hoped he won’t have to share it with the little boy too.
The doorbell rang and Touya smiled. The first Trick-or-Treaters were early this year.
