Its been awhile...
Well lets see, Don and I have now been together 8 months now. I have been working two jobs lately to pay for Nicoles wedding, thats right Manny and Nicole are getting married December 9th and I am a bridesmaid. I have also been working to pay for tuition for college in the spring at SAC. Thats right people I am finally going back to school and I am going to be in the medical assisting program. It should take about a year and a half two to years and then i should be placed in a job. I am finally on my way to having all that i want.
That and I found out that i just got promoted to assistant manager at Spencer's at North Star and they are willing to work with my school. So that is cool.
Ever since I have been with Don my priorities have changed and I have been thinking about my future and with him in it. I am going to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with his family. We have had a few rough patches but are grown ups and mature enough to talk and move on from it. I am really happy right now.
I feel like finally things are going my way, and all my hard work is paying off, I couldn't see it in the past paying off but its all coming full circle now.
The days of me partying and going out all the time have changed, i mean don't get me wrong whenever we have time we will meet up with friends sometimes and have some drinks. But we are more focused on each other and actually hanging out with friends. I really want my mom to meet him. She hears about him all the time.
All in all I am happy that's all that matters.
