Is it really wrong that the first thought I had as soon as I saw Chloe was working for the Gothem City Gazette was yay Cruce!? I think so.

I'll be interested to see where you go with this but I think it's a sad state of affairs when I knowingly go into a Chlark fic and get excited by the idea of another ship. Nothing against your writing or Chlark just that it's a bad scene on TV.

Anyway, great story, I liked the changes Chloe made and am very curious about the reasons for her change and why she left Metropolis as well how she ended up back in the Newspaper biz.

~Ouch!!!~ Yep, it's very wrong, but completely understandable. That's what TPTB have done to us, sadly. :-(

I'm actually feeling a little more upbeat because of the spin I'm going to put on Season 9 in this fic. Not watching the show actually helps, because then I don't have to see just how horrid things have gotten - it'd kill my mojo DED, for realsies.

Anyway, I hope this story gives you a smidgeon of hope by the time I'm done with it. I'm thinking 5 or 6 chapters. Which, with my track record, means 9 or 10. *sigh*

im happy to see u havent given up, thankfully. just re-read some of your chlark fics and i keep thinking you are still a chlarker. hope im right. btw, wounded heart sooo deserves a follow-up (not so subtle hint :P)

Aw, William. *Hold your head and looks into your eyes* Know this now: I WILL NEVER GIVE UP ON CHLARK. Never. That's like asking me to give up on my kid. Chlark was, is and always will be my OTP.

Yes, I love me some Chlollie, but it doesn't take away from my Chlark love, or the hope that the show may yet surprise us with a Chlark/Chloe ending. Writing Chlollie is like...having a second BABY. It's shiny and new, and cute like the first one but in so many different ways that you just want to discover all at one. But that doesn't mean I love my first child any less. Am I making sense? :-)
