Chlollie Fanfic: Slingshot, Chapter 2
I have been reliably informed that what I call a catapult, y'all call a slingshot. So I've renamed the title, and have edited chapter one to reflect that as well.

Ha! I was wondering how in the hell he was carrying around a catapult! *hee* That was one Britishism I didn't know, apparently.
"Oliver didn’t hesitate. He broke into a chase, but then tripped and landed on the floor with a thud."
Yay! I love seeing Ollie just burst into action. That's so HIM.
"He narrowed his eyes and focused on the target, pulling the sling as taut as it would go. Then he released it and sent the stone whistling through the air.

I LOVED that passage. It was like witnessing the birth of the Green Arrow! The first time he uses his archery skills to save someone! Brilliant, Dee!
"The little girl didn’t waste any time. She sank her teeth into the man’s hand and bit him as hard as she could. The man roared and dropped her, and she fell to the floor. In less than a second she shot to her feet and took off like a bullet from a gun."
And that's totally Chloe. Even at five, the girl is a fighter!!
"Her lower lip trembled, and her large hazel eyes filled with tears. “I want my Mommy,” she sobbed. “He hurt my Mommy!”
Oh, my goodness! It's the Luthorcorps goons after Moira and Chloe? What a fantastic twist to the story! I'd almost forgotten that Moira was semi on the run b/c of her meteor power. Genius!
“Queen Oliver? That’s a funny name for a boy.”
*falls over laughing* HAHAHAHAHA! Perfect!
This is wonderful, Dee! I'm loving every single line, and loving even more the fact that you're updating so quickly. Because you know me, I'm such a patient old soul, right? I'd never say something like "I WANT MORE IMMEDIATELY!" No, sirree. Not me.
