The drama is just never ending... mari2anne May 26 2011, 11:06:42 UTC

In some weird way this hit me as the saddest line in the story so far. It so aptly described how one horrible act changed Chloe from the sweetest thoughtful soul to someone capable of attempted murder... even though she might not truly believe that the locker incident could have killed Clark if Pete hadn't rescued him; if I remember correctly, Clark did tell her the stuff could kill him.

Lana, Lana, Lana... I am sort of speechless! I never liked how she always flirted with Clark even when she was with someone else! I'll just say that child has ISSUES! Not so sure it was smart of Clark to mention it was Chloe he loved. He should have just said, "You don't know her." But I get that he just wanted to get it through to her that CLANA just was not happening. I did like that Clark ended it with her, doing his best so that even she could understand there was no hope of a relationship between them.

Truly loved how Pete tried ever so kindly to put a mirror before Chloe in the hopes she might see what her actions were doing to herself. Glad Chloe figured out he didn't know what really happened before she could take her anger out on Pete also!

And, Oh, my goodness! I feel bad for Pete now...
So glad the next chapter's up so I can find out Chloe's response...

Thank you so much for continuing this angst-ridden tale...

*iz grim* Oh, she knows. And she doesn’t care; I think a part of her actually does wish him dead, and she’s definitely getting some kind of twisted satisfaction from hurting him. :-/

Well, he didn’t actually say he ‘loved’ Chloe, and to be honest I don’t think he’s really thought about it. But Chloe means more to him than anyone right now and she’s his first priority. Lana on the other hand isn’t even a distant second. He’s realised that whatever he had with Lana had no substance, and he’s not prepared to waste another second on it. Good for Clark!

Great description there, babes, I loved it. And even though Pete doesn’t have the full picture, he’s still on the right track by telling her that the only way out is forgiveness. Trouble is, she’s not ready to do that just yet. :-(

Pete’s a gentleman, I’m sure he’ll be fine. :-)

Always a pleasure, Mari, just as it is to read your brilliant reviews!!! :-D
