A wee update.

I get alot of slack for being hard to meet up with or hang out with. Long story short, I work TWO jobs and go to school FULL TIME. For a couple months I was working upwards of 40 hrs a week at Petsmart while going to the lab to do research and still trying, unsuccessfully mind you, to be a decent student. When I tell you that I am booked up for weeks at atime, I mean it. Recently, Steve got a new job in Durham and he is able to support me for the next two months (rent and food wise) so I can cut back my hours to weekends ONLY at Petsmart, not QUIT my job, but SLOW DOWN a bit. I need it because I have a tough crawl to get up to the grades I want to graduate with in December. Done it before though, so no big. Therefore, I do try to get out to see people a bit more, but my classwork will come first. Pchem comes firstfirstfirst. (except now, because I said so...haha).

This last week has been my first week not working 5 out of the 7 days and so far it's been quite productive. I got to see a group of friends Monday, did really well on my test tuesday, ran some good work at the lab and am going back today. It makes me feel a lot happier. A month ago I was breaking down nightly, drinking multiple shots to go to sleep and worrying about money and class and stupid job, but now, I go home, do homework, clean, cook, and be with three of the most awesomest beings in the land, two of which are fuzzy! (Ozzy and Oi) Oi's grown up a crap ton since we first got him, so I need to load up some new pictures, but that'll happen..soon enough.

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching and Steve and I are making dinner for mi familia. I'm really looking forward to it and it seems Steve's papa and sissy will be joining my family (all 909149017390183018 of us) for Christmas. Exciting eh? For now, I have to study for a fungi test, go run PCRs in lab, do a pchem hmwk due at 11pm (but! it appears the book is quite helpful on this one!!), and because i havent done so in WAY to long, watch Ghost Hunters at 9pm on Sci-Fi with Ozzy, Oi, and Mr. Steve-0.

I've been through some really rough times and it finally seems that I'm getting along ok. I have a happy family, real science-job prospects, and actual time to see the friends I miss. Only took me 22 years to get to a happy shiny place. I think it's all the cat poop. *wink*
