i'm starting to remember what it was like to be listless again. night swimming and river swimming and quarry swimming with long lost friends in unfamiliar places. moving between cities in hours instead of days and coming finally to a standstill in new york.. just like last summer and the summer before that without planning it. i've hopped trains now for the first time and am no punker, my mind just wanders a little more wrecklessly and i smell bad.
i was in denver. i was in bloomington.... but it's too damn hot to write about any of it now.
