(no subject)
So yeah my job that I thought I had this summer at Overbrook basically is falling through. Dr. Yocum hasn't decided yet on what he needs for this summer and my summer starts in 5 weeks. This isn't much of a help to me...We'll see.
I began looking at jobs again today on sites online. I found a promising one in New York right near Albany for a Dutch Hunter/Jumper Barn. I really liked it. I also wanted to see if any good hunter/jumper places in the area were looking for people but I dont think they are. I called Brooke and she called Frank Conway(owns a sales barn here off of Tates Creek Road) whos still in Florida showing the winter circuit. She basically got me a on trial basis of a working student position. We'll see how that works out.
I think I am gonna focus on Hunter/Jumpers. I love to teach, and train at horse shows. I love having people compliment me on how I ride and how I work with other people. I love being around beautiful animals that have so much talent. Most of all I love being in a show barn atmosphere. I can't stand the TB industry with their "I'm not sure" about things. You either want someone to work or not. Not an inbetween. We'll see.
This week I have been feeling pretty left out. I guess thats how it is with a group of three. Someones always left behind. I think I am going to keep quite and work hard this week. Maybe my "friends" will notice something....I highly doubt it. The only things I am good for is socks for when ashley doesnt have anymore, rides to the guys frats, and my house....Ohh well
