Happy New Year. Sure.

We had a blizzard today and I spent the first few hours of my shift pumping gas in it.  Good times.

One dumbass asked for just $25 in gas and I was standing out of the wind and didn't catch it in time so I put in $30.  I went inside and apologized but he told me he didn't have the money to pay for it so *I* had to pay for it.  And never mind that he was carrying pop and junk food out when he told me that.  There were a lot of curse words and door kicking after that.

Several people argued with me when I asked them to shut off their vehicle while I pumped gas.   "Why"?  BECAUSE I FUCKING SAID SO!  Geez.  Just do it already.  It's not safe, I don't want to risk an explosion that would erase Unity off the map, and we could get a fine.  Oh, and I could lose my job.  So could you just SHUT OFF YOUR TRUCK!?!?  Grrrr.

My mild, lingering eye infection reared it's head at work and I had to ask Jack to brave the elements to bring out my glasses so that I could take out my scratchy contacts.  20 minutes after he left, the lens popped out of my glasses while I was outside pumping gas.  After several more (blind) fill ups I went inside and put my scratchy contacts back in.  Awesome.

We are short staffed tonight and I have to work with a 17 year old kid who thinks he knows everything.  There are only two of us and one of us has to be outside pumping gas almost constantly so it should be fun trying to get everything else done in the store.  I guess I should bring my clone to work with me.

I'm a total grump tonight and I know it.  I am either freezing my butt off outside at work, or cooking to death in my layered snow pants and shirts inside the store.  I can't undress too much because I need to be prepared to go outside at any moment so...I get hot in my pants, for nothing.

Charlotte is nursing, leaving teeth marks on my boob.  With my nipple in her mouth she's shaking her head 'no', she doesn't think she's had enough.  I have.

Hopefully I can woof down a couple pieces of frozen pizza before going back to work, and maybe clean my contacts well enough to get me through the rest of my shift.
