I was watching "Monster's Inc" and doing my school work when Liz called and said, "My son is picking you up right now. we've got a birth." I asked her if I had time to change and she said no, just bring your stuff with you. Her son Brian drove me to where Liz and her hubby were having dinner, met up wtih her in the parking lot and we sped out of town.
45 minutes later when we arrived at this mama's house, Liz checked her and decided it was a false alarm. This mom had been having contractions all day, she's already gone past the point when she'd had her five other babies, but her internal exam showed no signs of active labour. So, we drove home.
Now I'm stoopid tired, especially after 20 minutes of pumping. I knew I should have done it this afternoon....and this morning....but I'm getting tired of it. *pout* I am doing it for Charlotte, and for myself because I don't want her to wean yet. It makes me sad to dump all that precious milk, but dump it I will and then I'm going to sleep. For once, I'm praying that the phone doesn't ring tonight.
