the makings of a lovely weekend off call
* We took the girls to see "Frozen" on Saturday. I <3 Olaf.
* sharing popcorn with Jack on a movie date Friday night.
* chuckled at Charlotte's LONG legs as she sat on Santa's knee. Julia declined this year.
* A quick but very productive shopping trip through the mall with Jack an hour before closing.
* sleeping in, two days in a row! So lovely to stay in Jack's arms under toasty warm blankets
* wrapping Christmas presents with Jack
* a Christmas baking marathon with Jack and the girls this morning; gingerbread men, shortbread cookies, and sugar cookies
* dinner out with Jack, holding hands while we waited for our food to arrive. And oh my, but my steak was ah-mazing.
* watching The Grinch with the girls, snuggled under blankets
* face painting for Charlotte at a fundraiser for a little boy battling brain cancer
* running into a midwifery client from last year, so happy to see her and her gorgeous baby girl
* a nap on the couch with Jack's arm around me, and our little dog curled up by my legs
And abundance of hugs and kisses, cuddles and giggles. Life is good.
