evening report
* My computer was having fits this weekend and after several desperate resuscitation attempts, it's back. I backed up my hard drive and then I'll take my puter in to see a puter doctor.
* Kim is coming home this month for a couple of days and she's bringing her boyfriend. My mom will be here at the same time. It will be interesting to meet him.
* Julia and Charlotte both got part of their dance costumes for the Spring recital. They were so excited.
* Jack's dad is doing well with us. Last night at supper he thanked us for not putting him in a nursing home.
* We went to the city on the weekend and I met up with my friend and midwife. She gave us a tour of the new midwifery offices and we discussed my plans to apply to the IMPP.
* My IMPP application is ready to mail. This feels very, very BIG. In 3 months and 3 days I could be in Toronto doing the OSCE's for the first time.
* I've started picking up bits and pieces for Charlotte's 5th birthday (tea)party. The Littles and I hit a thrift shop and I bought some inexpensive tea cups and saucers for the kids to use at the tea party. I'll break out my Royal Albert china for the grownups but not for the kids ;-)
* I'm going to the monthly scrapbook workshop this week for the first time since November. With the possibility of me being gone for 3-6 months in the Fall, I'm even more eager to get caught up on the kids scrapbooks. This Spring and Summer I will cramming in as much family time, studying, and scrapbooking as I can.
