evening report, in no particular order
Work today - I worked hard but by the end of the day I didn't feel like I actually accomplished much; the piles of papers were actually higher than when I got there!
Tomorrow: scrapbook workshop, the first one after taking the summer off. Is it sad that I'm excited? I have to leave in the middle of the day for a few hours but plan to spend the morning and evening there.
While we were in the city yesterday, I got a few new scrapbooking tools (punches) that were 50%. Love a good sale!
It's COLD here tonight - supposed to be below freezing overnight. I think we're going to have to put the furnace on tonight.
I didn't see Julia and Charlotte yesterday and I was at work al l day today, but this afternoon I got the full report about school, dance, etc. The girls were very excited to tell me about their first dance class, it was very sweet.
I made peanut butter marshmallow squares tonight and added coconut to them. It's one of Jack's favorite treats and I didn't think it was possible for him to like them even more than he already does, but he says with coconut they're even better! Yummo.
We hauled Kim's old bed outside - the next time she comes home she should have a cozy bed to sleep in....in the "guest room" . LOL
Charlotte starts preschool on Monday. *deep breath*
It was 2 o'clock in the morning by the time we got home and got to bed last night, then up for work this morning. Bed will feel good tonight.
My BIL and SIL came down tonight for a visit, and my BIL and Jack took off the window casings and measured the windows in our basement. Hopefully with new windows the basement will be warmer this winter.
Now, for some quiet time with Jack and the tv remote before we head to bed.
