Last weekend I went to see my first hockey game. It was the Peoria Rivermen, so its not like the NHL, but there was a lot going on. Within the first ten minutes glass shattered all over the announcers. Five minutes after that a fan got nailed in the head with a puck. There were a few fights, not a lot, but enough to keep me interested. Also let this be known that there are quite a few hot hockey players. I was also informed last week and work wants to send me to Denver for a conference. I am excited and also very nervous about this. Mainly because I have to fly and I have never flown before. The more I thought about it the more I wanted someone to go with me. So I asked my family and they all turned me down, which does not surprise me. I asked Tim and he wanted to go, but you all know that cash is a problem for everyone. So I thought some more about it and then I came up with the perfect solution. I offered to pay for Tim's ticket as an early b-day present. So he thought about it and talked to his boss about it and he is going. I am so excited. It will be a vacation for him, but for me I will be at the conference. We will be in Denver for about four days. If anyone has been there and has any ideas of what to do or see let me know. We will be going April 10-13. Hope everything is going good for everyone and I may have more good news to tell everyone in a couple of weeks. Marla already knows about this news, but Marla shhhh.
