Ooohh, my tan is a killer golden brown! I guess sitting out by the pool watching the kids swim is benefitting me more than I thought! Dude, and after camp...phew, it's gonna be nuts how dark I am.
On Sunday night, the group from church got together again and we were at Ivan's house. He's from Puerto Rico. His mom is SOOOOOOO sweet! We were just going to hang out and watch a movie and when the movie was over, Ivan was like, mom made some little snack food if you want to go eat some. Holy cow, I like her definition of snack food. Pork chops, chicken kebobs, sausage, croissants, chips and dip, this yummy punch. Phew, we all stuffed ourselves. Landis, Ivan and I are going to go hiking together tomorrow. That should be fun!!
I'm getting pretty psyched about camp! 11 days to go! I bought my bus ticket yesterday.
I feel sooo grown up. I now plan all my trips by myself, I buy the tickets, I go on the trips alone. Good grief, I feel like a real adult. I'm not sure how much I like feeling like an adult...oh well, I take it as it comes.
Welps, the kids should be getting back from the school picnic any time now. I'm gonna go read my book until then!
