I am THIS CLOSE to quitting. NO joke. The kids are being holy terrors to me and I'm stressing out to the point of breakdown. They REFUSE to listen to me. I've tried being really nice, I've tried being really mean, I've tried being indifferent, but NONE of it works. They're being horrible. I'm getting homesick and I just want them to listen to

You know... what I really want to say to you is "QUIT! DO IT! COME BACK!" But if you feel that is where God has place you then you need to stay. If you don't, then really pray and get His guidance. I love you! I hope everything gets better! Couple of questions though...

What do the parents do to punish their children for misbehaving? Let them know that you have all the athority to do that as well. Have they been told that you are the boss? They might need a bit of mothering/fathering for them to understand that they HAVE to listen to you. Do you believe in spanking? Do the parents? I believe if nothing else works, then spanking is a good way. I've done that before with children. Let me know how everything is going!!!!!
