Fustration across the Nation
I love my friends dearly...and i will forever be here to help them out, cause they have always been there for me. But i dont get why someone would seek help, say they are gonna change....but not back it up with their actions. I cant say im not guilty of the same thing God, so maybe i shouldnt even be writing this entry. I love to help my friends out and be there for them, but it pains me when they keep making the same mistakes over and over. I feel so helpless cause i cant jump in and make it all better. I cant make the wrong choices go away, the pain subside or the broken hearts mend....only You can Lord. Unfortunately sometimes my friends dont see that You are there ready and waiting to mend them, to take the pain away and create a clean heart within them.
Sleep well my dear friends, hold tight to what you know. He is always there by your side and will never leave you. One day when we look back we will see that when there was only one set of footprints in the sand, it was then that he carried us. Do not fear, because tomorrow is a new day full of His grace and mercy. i love you all... good night :)
My Father in Heaven, tonight i pray that my words are gentle and spoken out of love. Please fill me with you words and use me, so that my friends will find peace, joy and comfort in YOU. Help them to see that giving into their physical desires leads to sin, which is not of you Lord. Giving into temptation is not the way to get rid of it. Fleeing from temptation is the answer Lord. For you do not reward us for seeing how much temptaion we can resist, our reward comes when we flee from it. Give us the strength to chose Your will daily, to seek Your kingdom and rightousness above all else. I pray that we take up our crosses daily and place You on the throne of our lives. When You are first Lord, then everything else falls into place. Our lives will continue to be empty if we fill it with the small things first and You last Lord. I pray that out actions and words will back up our choices, and that everyday we can all be shinning lights for You. I pray that my friends will take comfort in your promise never to forsake us. That NOTHING can seperate us from You love. That you have our best interests in hand, and will never lead us astray. Its all about trusting in You during these tought times and puttin our faith that You, and You alone, with bring us through. So tonight i pray that u give us peace, bring us friends that will help us grow closer to you, fill us with your overflowing love and joy and give us sweet dreams! I love You and i will follow you all of my days, Amen :)
