Where do I begin.....
Can I just say that I'm glad the stress of my wedding is over! Now its the stress of finding the time to change over all my credit cards, SS, Drivers License, checks etc etc etc........ IT NEVER ENDS!
Anywho.... My wedding was set up EXACTLY how I envisioned it to be! The colors of the flowers, my cake, the music and the lighting made me want to cry with joy more then when I saw Rob waiting for me at the alter( LOL) The bridesmaids all looked so gorgeous! A few people at my work commented on just how pretty each girl was and that its rare that you see a wedding party with all of them so attractive!! HA! Of course I replied with " Now this is "MY" friends you're talking about"! "Do you expect any different"! I wasn't nervous all day until 5 minutes before I was set to walk down the aisle....I started panicking that 1 of my girls were gonna fall, or that I would trip over my own feet! Those feelings surprised me a bit b/c If anyone knows mw, they know that I LOVE to be the center of attention and that not too many things intimidate me!!! Saleena cried the whole ceremony ( shes so sweet) and I only cried once when the Reverand made reference to "the loved ones that couldn't be here today"! The rest of the night is kind of a blur b/c it happened so fast and I had so much on my mind! I can't wait to see the video so I can actually "remember" my wedding!! LOL
OH YEAH..... I really didn't feel my grandmother with me at all that day as I hoped but 1 strange thing occured and Stacy can attest to it.....While in the hotel room getting my hair done, my mom noticed a penny on the floor right near my hairdresser...now we were in that room the night before and also the whole morning and never ONCE noticed that penny, as plan as day, on the floor! We all agreed that it was a sign from my gm because my mom said that when she got married, my gm INSISTED that she wear a penny in her shoe for good luck! I wasn't even going to wear one in my shoe, but after that penny appeared I made sure it was snug in my shoe! My gm was very supersticious(sp?) and I knew that was her way of telling me to wear it!!!! I smile now to just think about it!!!
My honeymoon was AWESOME!! Cabo San Lucas Mexico is GORGEOUS! We relaxed by the pool, rode wave runners and PAAAAARTIED! After 5 days of Cabo, we went to San Fransisco! What a beautiful city! The 1st night we met up with the infamous mrcrossdress ( Michelle) and ate dinner and drank some Heffeweisen beer at a nearby bar ( thanks Michelle for meeting up with us) The other days were spent touring the city and eating our faces off! I'll scan some pics when I get them back!!!
And so ends my journey.......now I'm back to reality!
