Coming attractions.
Hey guys, middle of the week already? Cool cool cool. ::shakes booty::
Well this week looks promising. This Friday I have my first job at college on stage! WOO HOO! I am so excited, and nervous at the same time. I haven't worked for about a year and 2 months. I cannot wait. My position is house manager for my college fashion show.
It was funny, I was helping to focus lights ((did I post this already? lol)) and when we were done and cleaning up, the head SM ((Stage Manager for all of you non-theatre freaks, lol)) goes to me, "Hey Jen, what are you doing the night of the show?" So I'm all like..."Uhh, nothing?!" She goes..."GOOD! You can be my house manager 'cause I don't have one." Just like that, a job was handed to me. She has no idea of my background, where I've worked, what I have done. That could of been my first time in a stage! So that is pretty cool. At the same time it means I have to make a hell of a first impression having such a big responsibility.
Just to be on the safe side I e-mailed her and told her that I have held an SM position before but to give me some details on being a HM so I don't mess up. ((That made me look all professional, +1 for me!)) She told me and it's not that hard, and gave me details. I know it's nothing I can't handle. I am so stoked about working. Everyone was so cool too, they were like yea, when your done working you get to come party with us. Everyone was so nice and made me feel really welcomed. =) Mucho coolness there. Wish me a break a leg guys! ((I never know how to properly say that, lol)) Any of you fools "wish me luck" and I will poke you until you bleed. ;)
The other cool thing that is going to happen is Matt is taking me to see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway as my birthday present! I am so0o excited. I can't wait. We were gunna see the movie ((us being the theatre freaks we are)) but he was like..screw that, let's do it Broadway style. ((something along those lines right dude? lol)) So I was all like...HELL YEA! ....So, that's my Saturday night. If I don't have work this Saturday in the morning I am gunna hit up the gym hardcore!
That's about it fools. For all of you PW fans out there, he has been updating LJ every so often. If you aren't online that much or don't do ne thing but check LJ, give it a look see every now and then! Ok, loving you guys! <333 :)
