oh how the little things / strengthen my tiny wings
leaving tomorrow ..well, in 2 hours..for the south. It's tradition to stay up all night, since that's better than waking up to leave after a half hour of sleep. Looking forward to doing lots of reading and writing and rearranging of my priorities. Not looking forward to the trip down without my ipod...figured out how it got stolen, the other day, when i noticed the slashed screen right next to the computer where it always sits when i'm uploading. i am a bit devastated, since I was secretly hoping it would turn up in my room eventually.
to update you on [the events of*] my life:
+I have tentatively started playing with a real band..!
+coffee shops & rainy nights
-Meg moved to Texas.
- i broke a $700 guitar
-Tomoko left for Japan for good..this still has not sunk in completely
+ i got a car
+ had the best day with Hannah and Davey. devotions, music, photography, the countryside, Amelie...it could not have been more enjoyable.
+ Davey taught me how to play the mandolin, and we found one for $40 online that i want. as soon as i pay off the car..and guitar..and replace ipod..and get a new mic
-speaking of which, I tried to record the rain and my mic was zapped by lightning and no longer records.
- Hannah is moving to Sweden
+West VA- what an amazing trip..God's ways are always above and beyond what i can imagine. So much I could say here..just ask me about it :)
The dark window is giving my imagination terrible tricks that it likes to play on me. so I'm going to go finish packing.
