holding out for the home life....

"You know that point in your life when you realize that the house that you grew up in isn't really your home anymore? All of the sudden even though you have some place where you can put your stuff that idea of home is gone." --Garden State

I want home, I don't care if it's just a place where you put your stuff anymore. Yes, I know I still have family and friends in Augusta. But in part, I define home as the whole Mom and Dad and dog package...unfortuantely that's in Florida. AND I still haven't been there since they moved in March. I had no idea how much I'd miss the idea of home. Is it just me or do you sometimes wish to be back in elementary school when you were totally dependent on your parents. I don't know...this makes no sense at all, but this weekend all of my friends went home..and I really can't go home or at least not without devoting 9.5 hours on I-95 or 1.5 hours on a plane. Suckage. Needless to say
cannot wait until Thanksgiving break when I'll be going home for the first time.
