pic update!
wowsers...ive been here for 5 weeks already...it really doesnt sound so long but i feel like i live here already..which i mean i have been but..u know.....yeah. school's starting to catch up and the work load is getting heavier which BLOWS cuz that means less going out for me but then again that means less money being spent yennoe? and then at the same time my time here seems like its so short and i want to cram everything in..but then i miss home ((and dc)) so much that i wanna go home too..yeah..all contradictory feelings but hey..what can ya do yennoe?
so lifes been good..last week i went to rotorua with 4 other friends. we jes rented a car and went for it dood. im SO proud of us, what we were able to do, all do it as cheap as possible, AND get home alive and safe hahaha...1st obstacle was renting a car...none of us had ever done it b4 and getting on the street was a HUGE step ((it's like england..we drive on the left side of the road and the driver's seat is on the right side)) ahhaha...we kinda just followed signs to get to rotorua ((about a 4 hr drive)) and found the hostel and jes winged it from there. one adventure thatll never be forgotten that weekend was we were trying to put gas in the tank and none of us could get the damn tank open. so we ask some random guy to help and it was to no avail. and then we asked the gas attendant and he couldnt help..so we called the rental place and basically they told us to pry it open. hahaha..we ended up using a butter knife that had peanut butter on it to pry it open. FUNNY SHIT haha..pix from rotorua:

he week was pretty chill. it was samoan week in my pac dance class..LOVE IT!
i could sit in that class FORever heh. and the kids in there are awesome. there's this one kid sharleen who's AWESOME..at first i was like "wow! she's so friendly and has a GREATTTT voice..." and then i found out its cuz she's a singer hahaha...go figure...she's part of Pacific Soul ((the 2nd girl))..cool huh?
so yeah...this past weekend i went up with my butler group to waitomo to go blackwater rafting...SOOOO fun! basically we went into caves with rushing water and walked some and tubed down some of it..DEF good times.
1st thing me and kady do: attack the trampoline at the back of our hostel..hahah SO FUN! i love trampolines.

hahah..i should REALLLLLY have done work..but NOOOPE! i came home today from dance, talked to dani for a while, ate pizza from hell ((yes there's a pizza place here called hell)), went out to the movies with my friends ((FINALLLLLY saw wedding crashers! it like..JUST came out here!..GOOD MOVIE!)) and then came home and did the whole "hygiene happy" thing and extended online routine hahha..im pathetic. oh wells. in any case...next week marks the beginning of my mid-sem break. CHEEE HUUUU! i get to see:
