*I'd grieve the special dirty things that we used to talk about...*
Yeah so today was cool I guess. I stayed home most of the day which is always nice in a really lonely and depressing kind of way, if that makes any sense. Oh well. Anyway, but yeah I finally got in the shower about 4 and went to get a pedicure. That was nice, and I needed it. I love having me-time every once in a while. It keeps me from going insane. Afterwards I came home to get ready to go out with Neen and Chels. We were supposed to meet downtown at 5, they didn’t come until 6.... Yeah I’ve kind of developed this system, you see you tell them to meet you at least an hour before you actually leave the house because they'll get there an hour later than you told them, so you see we're both there at the same time, if I’m lucky. So yeah we met up at Starbucks and then walked through Farmers Market. Then we met up with Sasha at Bay Books, which was cool because we hadn’t seen her in a while.
Oh my god! I saw my first car chase today! It sounds sad but it was such a rush because it was right in front of us. We saw the fuzz with their lights on following this car. The guy in the driver seat saw the lights and sped around the curb across from us, it was kind of scary but still cool. I thought it was Marlee and Adam at first! I mean it was her car and the guy in the front seat looked like him, and so I thought that she had just let him drive or something. But then I came to my senses and realized that she wouldn’t be that dumb and speed away from a cop like that. Then about 10 min later we walked by and stood in the crowd of people that watched the cops as they caught the people and put them in the police car. After all the excitement we went to Walgreens and did what we do best, sit in the middle of the isle and read magazines. Overall it was really fun, I love my friends.
I can't wait until tomorrow night. I’m going to First Night. It'll be the first year I'll have spent New Years with my friends. It should be fun, I hope. Whatever. I’m tired.
