pink is on the brain...

Today was not one of my best days. Orgo exam at 8am and the test was so hard! Everything on it were things that she had briefly covered in class and I only studied the ones that she went over extensivly in examples.....of course, hardly any of them were on there. I ended up getting a really bad grade on it. But I'm trying to put that behind me because there is nothing I can do about that test now. The rest of the day was ok....long and boring. I did get to lay outside in between classes which turned into sunburned backs of legs. But it doesn't hurt too bad. After dinner tonight, Dave decided he needed new shoes so a couple of us caught the bus to go to Rt 1 and find some. While there, I got the sudden urge to dye my hair which prompted us into CVS. I've always wanted to dye it some bright color and the only one we could find was Fuschia Flash. So of course, I bought it. On the way back, I decided that I really only wanted to do the ends of my hair, so that it would grow out faster and if need be, I could just cut it off. We got back to the dorm, I had a little argument with my dad which we resolved, and Holly did my hair. Then Kayla's roommate, Jess, came in and wanted to do a little strand. Kayla then decided to do a single streak down the side of her head and we even got Holly to do a little streak in the back of her hair. I had to wait 30mins with the stuff on my hair and Holly washed it out for me. I blow dried it and it looks awesome! It isn't quite fuschia, but is more of a mixture of fuschia, hot pink, and red. It looks really neat. We dyed about 2-2.5 inches on the ends, all the way around my head. I need to figure out how to post pics on here. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow. Anyway, I called my dad to tell him that instead of making a rash desicion and dropping out of school (like he thought I was going to since I was upset), I had made the rash decision to dye my hair. He sounded a little skeptical but I sent them a picture via Derrike's cell phone and Derrike said they seemed to like it. So that's good. And the rest of the night has been relaxed, talking to people online and playing isketch. Tomorrow, its back to work. Bio exam is next....5 days to study!
