It's Okay
Talked to Mom tonight. She feels so guilty for leaving me and the kids without a car. I keep telling her it will be alright.
We talked about the kids' Christmas presents, you know what they will get when Mom and Joe get back. I gave up and let the kids have their movies early. I feel so much better about not going up to PA. Christmas for us is just spending time with family and sharing good food and our love. Who says we have to do that on December 25th?
Mom says that it looks like I already have a job at the Atlantis when we move in March. Customer service work. I can handle that. I work with interesting people every damn day, and that's not including the kids' parents (who I sometimes wish I could smack.)
All in all, I am doing okay now. The kids don't yet know the difference so it's all good.
